Condition of Original Vinyl/Record:
Posted pricing assumes that your prized vinyl is at least
in “FAIR” condition. If your record skips because of
damaged (scratched) grooves, we can perform a transfer, but
there will most likely be an additional charge incurred for
the time required by us to hand-track through the skips. Also,
we may or may not be able to reduce or eliminate the noise
the scratches produce during the transfer. If you are not
sure how to determine the condition of your record, contact
us via email
or telephone (818) 313-9008 BEFORE
shipping your vinyl to us, and we will be happy to help you
identify possible damage. Remember, visual inspection of your
record is not always a indicator of its condition. Conversely,
a scratch does not necessarily mean that your record will

Condition of Original Cassette
Tape:
Posted pricing assumes that your prized cassette tape
is at least in "FAIR” condition and that the tape
itself has not deteriorated by age or been otherwise damaged
to the extent that it impairs normal playing on a professional
cassette tape player. If your cassette is slightly damaged
we can attempt to perform a transfer; but there will most
likely be an additional charge incurred for the time required
by us to track thorough the damage. Also, we may or may not
be able to reduce or eliminate the noise the damage produces
during the transfer. If you are not sure how to determine
the condition of your cassette tape contact us via email
or telephone (818) 313-9008 BEFORE
shipping your cassette to us, and we will be happy to help
you identify possible damage.

Shipping and Handling Costs:
Due to the large number of different combinations of
products / services one could order from LPtransfers4U,
it’s not possible for us to provide a shipping / handling
chart that covers all situations. We ship either USPS Priority
or Media Mail. The rates for Priority Mail depend upon weight
and shipping destination. Priority Mail averages $7-$9 for
shipping to the East Coast and takes about 2-3 days to anywhere
in the Continental U.S. Media Mail rates are determined by
weight only. Media Mail is a reliable and inexpensive alternative,
although somewhat slower (6-8 days to the East Coast). Media
Mail averages about $4-$6 for one LP with compact disc transfer.
NOTE: If you have any special requests regarding shipping,
we will make every effort to accommodate you. Whatever the
shipping method and no matter how much care is taken, we are
not liable for any damage that occurs during shipping to or

Shipping 78 RPM and Vintage Records:
If you have 78 RPM records or comparable vintage sound
recordings, contact us via email
or telephone (818) 313-9008 BEFORE
sending them to LPtransfers4U. Shipping
/ handling costs can be somewhat higher due to the actual
weight of the thicker vinyl. As 78s and vintage records are
not as “flexible” as albums and are more easily broken, it’s
imperative that EXTRA precautions be taken to
ensure that the 78s and vintage sound recordings are packed
properly, safely and securely to avoid any disappointing results
from postal system transgressions. NOTE:
We are not liable for any damage that occurs during
shipping to or from LPtransfers4U.
